Why are girls considered to be a burden?

If a girl is burden to Parents, then the girl should ask them why they gave birth to you in the first place. Parents when they do not have sufficient money to marry her off, they feel so. But you are not responsible. They are responsible and it is their duty to take care of you. Otherwise at least they should give proper education and make you to get job to be economically independent.
Another logic: If all try to produce only boys, where do they get girls when they reach marriageable age? So, somebody should always produce girls for boys.
Your Mom is a senseless woman.
It is better you complete your studies and try for a job. Then live independently.
One question to your Mother: Why she took birth as a woman? Why she gave birth to you without your consent???....
